The proposal will add a further 40SqM making the house approx. 220SqM. The footprint of the new single storey rear extension is consistent with the existing shape of the house and the neighbouring outrigger. The extension is not overlooking or overlooked by any of the neighbouring properties and is not visible from the street.

The proposal has been designed to respond to the detailing of the host building in matching brickwork. The rear elevation features hardwood boarding and aluminium flashing, giving a more modern touch of the extension while repecting the host building. With regards to the glazing, all windows and doors of the side elevation and the rear extension will have powder coated aluminium frames.
